This privacy center outlines the scope of data protection and privacy coverage for both DMARCShield Essentials and DMARCShield Elite by The Great Geek. We prioritize your data security and transparently handle your information.
01. Data Handling Practices

We only collect the telemetry strictly required to run your DMARC infrastructure safely. Your data is AES-256 encrypted at rest and TLS encrypted in transit. We never sell your domain analytics or security logs to third-party brokers.
At The Great Geek, we architect DMARCShield with a strict privacy-by-design framework. The core function of our service involves receiving and parsing aggregate (RUA) and forensic (RUF) reports generated by receiving mail transfer agents (MTAs). We classify this data as sensitive operational telemetry. We do not extract, store, or process message body content under any configuration. The information we retain is explicitly limited to header metadata, source IP addresses, authentication results (SPF/DKIM alignments), and volume metrics required to visualize your domain's security posture.
All data structures housing your DMARC reports are secured using AES-256 encryption at rest. Transport of this data between our ingestion servers, processing pipelines, and the administrative dashboard is secured exclusively via TLS 1.3. We strictly adhere to the principle of least privilege, ensuring that internal access to customer telemetry is restricted to automated systems and authorized senior engineering personnel during active incident response scenarios only.
02. Third-Party Processors

We only share your data with verified sub-processors required to host our servers, process payments, or deliver system emails. We maintain legally binding agreements with these vendors to ensure they meet our strict security standards.
To deliver the DMARCShield platform seamlessly, we rely on a carefully curated list of essential third-party sub-processors. These vendors provide foundational infrastructure, including cloud compute environments, database hosting, transactional email delivery, and secure payment processing. Every vendor utilized by The Great Geek undergoes a rigorous security assessment prior to integration and is bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) that enforce standards equal to or exceeding our own.
We do not employ ad-tracking networks, marketing data enrichment services, or behavioral analytics tools within the DMARCShield administrative console. Your interaction data within our application is used solely for functionality improvements and security monitoring. A comprehensive, up-to-date registry of active sub-processors is available to all DMARCShield Essentials and DMARCShield Elite customers upon written request.
03. User Rights & Deletion

You maintain full sovereignty over your infrastructure data. If you decide to close your account, we trigger an automated cascade that permanently purges your DMARC reports, account details, and configuration settings from our live databases within 30 days.
In compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and global data privacy frameworks, you retain comprehensive rights regarding your personal and operational data. You possess the right to access, rectify, export, or completely erase any data held by The Great Geek under your DMARCShield account profile.
Upon initiating an account closure request through our platform, our systems enact a hard-delete protocol. Live analytical data, aggregated DMARC reports, and user credentials are purged within 30 days. Backup archives, maintained solely for disaster recovery purposes, undergo automatic rotation and will see your data irreversibly destroyed within 90 days. We do not retain 'anonymized' residual metadata from your specific traffic once a deletion request is executed.
04. Product Tier Scope

Both our Essentials and Elite tiers adhere to the exact same stringent privacy framework. Upgrading unlocks more advanced threat analytics and more advanced security protocols, but your core data rights and encryption standards remain uncompromisingly strict on both plans.
This policy equally governs the usage of both DMARCShield Essentials by The Great Geek and DMARCShield Elite by The Great Geek. While the Elite tier involves advanced processing pipelines to deliver deep forensic threat intelligence and elevated monthly reporting volumes, the underlying data minimization constraints are identical.
Regardless of your subscription tier, our operational mandate is consistent: we collect only what is necessary, we secure it using industry-best practices, and we grant you absolute control over its lifecycle. Features introduced in future versions of DMARCShield will inherently inherit these baseline privacy commitments.
